Arc Raiders: Humidifier Project Uses by U4GM
A Humidifier is easy to ignore until your Expedition project suddenly asks for five of them. If you have been clearing out low-value household loot, you are not alone. Many Raiders recycle them for parts, then need to run the same route several times to replace them. The safest habit is to check your active project first and treat ARC Raiders Items with possible project use as stash material, not instant scrap.
Run the Red Tower Route First
Buried City is still the cleanest place to hunt one down. Head for Red Tower on the Old Town side, close to Plaza Rosa and the metro. The important room is in the upper residential section, where two red lockers can spawn the Humidifier. Get there before you start opening random drawers or side containers. That small choice matters more than people think, especially when another squad is already moving through the building.
- Enter Buried City with a cheap, practical kit. You need enough healing and ammo to get out, but there is no reason to risk your best gear on a one-item run.
- Move straight towards Red Tower and listen before going inside. Footsteps, open doors, or fresh fighting near the metro usually mean somebody got there first.
- Climb to the upper residential room and check both red lockers immediately. If they are untouched, grab the Humidifier before looking at the nearby secondary loot.
- Leave through the metro when you have the item. A Humidifier only helps if it reaches your stash, so do not turn a good run into a long fight over extra loot.
- If the lockers are already open, decide quickly. Reset if the metro is safe, or keep searching residential containers in the Hospital, Space Travel, or nearby apartments.
If Red Tower keeps being empty, switch maps instead of forcing the same bad opening. Dam Battlegrounds has useful residential areas around Pale Apartments, Ruby Residence, and the northern houses. Check kitchen cabinets, cupboards, lockers, drawers, and shelves. Humidifiers are tied to residential loot, so industrial crates are usually a waste of time. Also, check your own Expedition number. The first Expedition Outfitting phase is known for requiring five Humidifiers, but later personal projects may ask for something else.
Once you find one, contribute it to an open project as soon as you can. Humidifiers stack in threes, weigh enough to become annoying, and recycling them only gives you Canisters and Wires. That is rarely worth losing progress over. Keep your runs short, adapt when Red Tower is crowded, and only buy ARC Raiders Gear when it supports the loadout you can actually afford to lose on the way out.
