Quinn Hughes and his brother, Jack, were guests on Good Morning America on Tuesday. During the show, the star defenseman Quinn was asked whether the U.S. men's hockey team would be accepting its invitation to attend the evening's State of the Union addre s. Quinn affirmed that yes, the gold medal winners would be there. "I don't know how much we're allowed to say, but yes Josh Hader Jersey ," . "Yeah, we're excited to go. It's something you don't get to do -- I don't what today is -- every Tuesday. It's gonna be special for us." MORE: The uncertainty about attendance Tuesday night is in large part due to the NHL schedule. The league went on break for the Olympics so its players could compete in the tournament for the first time since 2014. It created incredible hockey, and Quinn scored the game-winning goal in overtime in the quarterfinals against Sweden before Jack scored the gold medal-winning goal in overtime in the final against Canada. The NHL comes back from its break starting with eight games on Wednesday night after the gold medal game was played Sunday. There's uncertainty around stars being available to get right back on the ice with their NHL team after their travel home and extra celebrations. During the GMA appearance, though, Quinn wanted to say a few words about the women's team, which also won 2-1 in the gold medal game over Canada in OT. "You know, we're really happy for them," Quinn said. "Obviously, a lot going on on social media surrounding our team and their team. But, you know, the last couple (years) we've done a lot of training with them and got to know a lot of those girls really well."
