At profession level 1 you can pick from three skills. Rapid Production (max level 5) instantly yields 4 hours of in-base Food, Iron, and Coin production per level, with a 24-hour cooldown. Combat Experience (Season 1 exclusive, max 3) increases the Profession EXP you get from killing monsters by 20% per level.

At level 5 another trio unlocks. Extra Meal (max 1) improves your daily stamina freebie: you receive two packs of 75 stamina instead of two packs of 50. Higher-tier skills become available at level 40, 45, and 50 — though note the Season 1 cap of 40 means you cannot actually reach level 45 or 50 during this season. At level 40 you can take Decay Ray (max 1, when attacking an enemy base, up to 1,000 seriously injured units are degraded by one level per day) or Charge Banner (max 1, places a banner that boosts allies’ attack by 2% for 30 minutes, 72-hour cooldown, stacks 5 times). The skills at level 45 — Fortify Defense (max 5, boosts defending squad damage) and Prisoner (max 5, chance to capture an enemy hero after battle) — and at level 50 — Siege Boost (max 5, increases damage vs. enemy bases), Prism Tower (max 5, builds a tower that adds extra damage in its aura), and Virus Control (Season 1 exclusive, max 1, defeat Doom Walker for a chance at a summoning item) — are listed for reference but cannot be assigned until future seasons.
