In the world of Aion2, crafting the best weapons is a mix of strategy, patience, and a little bit of luck. One player recently shared their journey to craft the ultimate weapon—the Horned Dragon Bow—without spending a single dollar, relying solely on in-game resources, eight characters, and relentless grinding.

After spending nearly all materials to craft an Ebony Guard in late January, our player was back at square one, ready to gather everything needed for the Horned Dragon Bow. Harder to acquire, this material was farmed by leveling multiple characters to Alchemy Professional 50, yielding two stones per character. Extra stones came from events like the Shugo Festival and conquest dungeon drops.

3. Enhanced Robust Scale

Rather than farming, most scales were purchased (150k–200k each) and then crafted. Out of the 244 required, only five crafting failures occurred—a testament to patience and precision.

4. Ratful Materials

Three of these were obtainable through dungeons and the season shop. Farming these manually through conquest dungeons was essential since previous crafting had depleted the stock.

5. Radiant Log and Radiant Odile

These rarer materials were partly farmed and partly bought, comparing prices to determine which was cheaper and could be morphed to the needed item.

The Kina Hustle

Kina farming was relentless—open-world mobs, daily duties, conquest runs, transcendence runs, abyss farming, and ascension trials all contributed to the massive currency haul needed to complete the bow.

Crafting the Horned Dragon Bow

After weeks of careful material gathering and grinding, the moment of truth arrived. Clicking the craft button was nerve-wracking, with the stakes high and success uncertain. But after persistent effort and calculated use of enhancement items like amplify stones, the Horned Dragon Bow finally came into existence—fully upgraded and ready for action.

Soul Binding and Skill Optimization

The final steps involved soul binding and carefully assigning desirable skills like multi-hit and damage boost. Even with meticulous planning, RNG played a part, forcing the player to craft, reroll, and experiment to reach the optimal configuration.
