In ARC Raiders, the Dam Battlegrounds map is one of the best places to look for valuable loot, but it can also be one of the most dangerous. A big part of successful runs here comes down to knowing where certain locked doors are and having the right keys to open them. These keys range from Uncommon to Epic rarity and unlock hidden rooms that usually contain weapon crates, crafting materials, and sometimes rare blueprints. Since many of these rooms are located around the main dam structure, players often race to them early in a raid before other squads arrive ARC Raiders Coins.

One of the easier keys to use is the Dam Surveillance Key. It's an Uncommon key that unlocks a door inside the Water Treatment Control building near the middle of the map. When you enter the building, head past the front desk area and turn right into the hallway. The locked door should be almost immediately on the right side. Inside you'll usually find a weapon crate along with ammo and some tech scraps. Because it's relatively close to the water treatment elevator, it can be a quick early stop if you spawn nearby, though players coming from the radio tower area sometimes pass through here as well.

Another useful key is the Dam Testing Annex Key, which is a Rare item tied to the Testing Annex building in the southern part of the map. There are actually two possible locked doors inside that structure, but each key will only open one of them. After entering the building, move through the flooded hallway and then head right. From there you can either continue straight or turn left toward another corridor. Many players say the left-side room tends to have slightly better loot, including security components and other valuable items. This location is also close to the route leading toward the Hydroponic Dome area, making it easy to link with other loot spots in the south.

The Dam Controlled Access Zone Key is another Rare key that was introduced with the Shrouded Sky update. This one unlocks a door in the Controlled Access Zone north of the main dam, near the Power Generation Complex. To reach it, players need to climb down a ladder and move through the generator area until they reach a control room full of terminals. The locked door is toward the back-left side of that room. Because this area now has better loot after the update, it has also become a more common PvP spot, so it's smart to move quickly or bring equipment that can secure the room while you loot.

Another Uncommon key players often pick up is the Dam Staff Room Key. This one leads to a room on the ground floor of the Control Tower, which is a central landmark on the map. After entering the tower through the main entrance, move left past the reception desk and head toward a side door. The staff room is directly across from it. The loot here isn't always top-tier, but you can usually find scattered materials, ammo, and sometimes a field crate. Since many players already pass through the tower during their run, opening this room rarely requires much of a detour.

The most valuable key on the map is the Epic Dam Control Tower Key. This one unlocks a room on the top floor of the same Control Tower, and it's well known among players because the room can contain multiple weapon crates. Getting there usually involves entering from the side of the tower, grappling up the lift shaft, and clearing any defensive turrets along the way. Once inside the upper corridor, the locked door is on the right side. There's also a balcony area that can sometimes hold additional loot. Because of the potential rewards, this location often attracts other raiders, so fights around the tower are very common.

Keys for these rooms often spawn somewhere near their related points of interest, such as Raider Caches around water towers, swamp areas, or damaged bridges. Players who want to maximize their chances of collecting multiple keys often plan their route ahead of time. One common route is starting near the lower Control Tower, moving through Water Treatment, then heading south toward the swamp and Hydroponic areas before extracting. Paths like this help players cover several loot spots while keeping a relatively efficient escape route.

Learning where these locked doors are can make the Dam Battlegrounds map much easier to handle. Instead of wandering around hoping to find good loot, you can move between known locations and unlock rooms quickly before other teams arrive cheap ARC Raiders Coins. With practice, the map starts to feel much more predictable, and those key rooms can turn an average run into a very profitable one.
